February 20, 2009. Wiener Neustadt. Some friends and I got into to the car to see a concert of Esteban’s in Wiener Neustadt as we knew that quite some other friends of ours would show up. Boff kept begging me for cigarettes and gave me free beer in return. We were only allowed to smoke outside (but it was pretty cold) or in the backstage room. January 18, 2009. Vienna – Munich. I heard about the Notwist shows in Munich in October or so and immediately decided to go there as it was gonna be one of their rare orchestra shows. Just a few days after my friend Alex, who works for the Notwist sent me a postcard from San Francisco where they were playing that night. I wrote him an email about the Munich shows and he told me, that I could bring along my friends and that he would put us on the guest list.
